My Story
Hi, I’m Cassandra Holland, a professional genealogist with a lifelong passion for uncovering family histories. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, my journey into genealogy began as a child, watching my mother piece together our family’s past. I was always curious—asking about the people in old photographs and listening intently to family stories.

As I grew older, I started assisting my mother with small research tasks, like locating census records or vital documents. In 2016, she encouraged me to research my paternal Holland family line, which sparked an even deeper love for genealogy. That passion led me to attend RootsTech 2020, where a simple Panda Express fortune cookie affirmed I was exactly where I was meant to be.

Determined to turn my passion into expertise, I transferred to Brigham Young University to study Family History and Genealogy. Now, I use my skills to help others uncover their own ancestral stories, reconnect with their roots, and bring their family histories to life.
